The Sun often means an awakening (or reawakening). It encourages us to move into an energetic and positive light.

The Sun embraces the concept of, “looking on the bright side.”Which, at times, can be easy but is often a challenge.

The Reversed Sun

How you read reversals is a personal choice. You can ignore reversals and read them as if the card is upright (this is what I often choose to do) or you can interpret reversals as variations of what they would mean upright. There are 3 common ways to read reversals: as a negative interpretation, as an opposite interpretation, or as a block on the upright interpretation. Negative: A negative reversed Sun suggests that you’re a wee bit careless right now. Embracing your confidence, positive energy, and happiness has caused you to ignore the more serious (and less exciting) aspects of your life. Scale back the carelessness a little but without blocking off your good energy.

Opposite: An opposite reversed Sun means that you’re struggling to embrace the positives of your life. Consider the Sun permission to let go, relax, and have some fun.

Blocked: A blocked reversed Sun indicates that you’re struggling to find the positives in life. Something is holding you back from finding your inner light.
